Empty Nest

Our house has been the site of visitors since May 13th.  Everyone is gone now and the house is quiet again.  Here are some random shots from the last few weeks.

Mom (Grandma, Nana) is here in Calgary and we are already having too much fun.  She arrived Wednesday afternoon and quickly settled in.  Thursday morning we spent hanging out here chatting with Dayna before she had to fly back to Toronto.  Linda and the boys also descended on us for the day and stayed through supper.

Today it was just the two of us and we decided to go on an adventure.  We hit a a yarn store for some supplies and then Michael's for a few more supplies.  (We have a project planned that I'll blog about on The Knitting Doodle).  After a pleasant lunch out, we went to:

We had a very specific list of things to pick up:

coffee filters

cookies

carrots

celery

cow's milk  (Dayna prefers almond milk)

chocolate

cinnamon raisin bagels

cashews

Chiquita bananas

... and ice cream.

Just making the list made us giggle.  Can you figure out why?
