Who'da thunk?

Wow!  A little over one year ago I launched my "Knitting Doodle" website.  And st a year ago I  launched the Knitting Doodle Facebook page.  Today ... May 4th ... I got the 5000th  'like' on the Facebook page!!!

I know.  I'm stupidly pumped about this.  The website is really doing well.  Site stats have been steadily increasing and I'm getting lots of great feedback from all over the world.  Most of my followers are in Canada and the US.  Some of the other countries represented are:  Russia, Brazil, South Africa, Egypt, England, Holland, Korea, and Greece!

The website is a lot of work in some ways.  Mostly in coming up with new, original projects each month!!  But it's fun and interesting, too.  And one of these days I'll actually figure out a way to make some money from it!  On my "store" page I have an option to "donate" to the Knitting Doodle.  To my surprise, some followers have actually donated!  (No...I wasn't related to any of them!! LOL!!)

Benjamin turns 3

Benjamin's Birthday coincided with Easter Monday this year (and April Fool's Day, of course!) so we all got to hang out for the day and celebrate Benjamin turning 3.

What do you get a little boy who thinks couch jumping is a Pre-School Olympic Sport?  A trampoline!!

Um... some assembly required and Benjamin helped the whole time!

 

He must have jumped for a whole hour after it was assembled.  And the smile NEVER left his face.

Meanwhile,  Anthony and Jacob blew bubbles over their melting ice rink ...

And Rebecca hung out inside with Oma...

It wasn't actually a "snow day".  It was a Linda's-van-was-in-the-shop-for-the-whole-day-so-let's-spend-the-day-at-Oma's-house-day.

And Oma didn't have a snowman!

After snowman building was a good time to sit with Oma and do some knitting.  Anthony likes to finger-knit. Jacob and Benjamin aren't interested ... yet.  :-)
